I have been a Broker Associate in the Chaffee County and surrounding area for over 12 years. Shortly after graduating from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, I moved to California (Sacramento and San Francisco) and then to Denver in 1986. After working with one of the premier real estate and construction management schools in the country, the University of Denver in the School of Real Estate and Construction Management (where I held the title as the Director of Alumni and Industry Relations), I decided to enhance my career by becoming a Realtor. In 2004, my husband David and I moved to the Arkansas Valley because of our love of the outdoors and more specifically fly fishing! This love has even taken us around the world, but when it came time to make a final decision of where to live, we found “Nothing could be more perfect than Chaffee County.” I also enjoy climbing mountains and so far I have climbed 18 of the 54 fourteen thousand foot peaks in Colorado and I’m anxious to climb the 15 now found in my own back yard! I have served as past president of the Salida Rotary Club and the Salida Sunrise Rotary Club and have served on the Chaffee People’s Clinic, Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteers and Trout Unlimited Board. I was honored by my peers in 2006 by being named Realtor of the Year.
